This past weekend, our local football team won the 1A State Championship football game. My husband was a pretty okay (okay, he was better than okay. Some would even say pretty good) football player during his high school career. ;-)
The team put little "KC" stickers on their helmets in honor of Knox for their past couple of games (yes, I'm counting Knox as a state champ!). Such a sweet sentiment to honor Knox and his life. Mike Pritchard, one of our amazing local photographers, snapped a picture at the state game of one of the helmets to show who they honored.
It just so happened to be on #57's helmet: Knox's daddy's number when he played. I asked Mike if he knew that was his number but he didn't remember that when he took the picture. What a coincidence; one that makes my heart shine at that.
I'd like to think of this as a wink from Knox.
Congratulations Camp Point Central panthers on your big W yesterday! Once a panther, always a panther and the Cassens family is proud of you!
Wow! I have goosebumps! My husband told me the last couple of games we have angels helping and he didn't know why because he said "God doesn't care about football." #57 is my son. I shared this story with him and he said " I told you!" Definitely a sign from above! ❤️
I hope you are able to see many God sightings as you continue through this journey.
Definitely a “wink”😊💗
